Foundation Training

Duration – 2 Days

Designed for any individual looking to progress their professional development in the field of stress management. The course provides the required level knowledge for entry on to any of the other three Practitioner courses.


Unit 1 – Organisational Psychosocial Risk Management Consultancy

Duration – 2 Days plus 1 exam and review day approximately 6 weeks after the initial course.

Based on the BSI Publicly Available Specifications (PAS 1010, Organisational Stress) the training covers the obligations for organisations as set out by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and the European Union (EU). Includes how to implement PAS 1010 guidelines and how organisations can implement a psychosocial risk policy.


 Unit 2 – Enhancing Well being, Performance & Productivity

Duration – 2 Days plus 1 exam and review day approximately 6 weeks after the initial course.

Based on HSE Management Competencies and Standards guidance, the training focuses on the responsibilities of managers to implement their organisation’s psychosocial risk management policy.


Unit 3 – Code of Practice for Psychosocial Risk Management Practitioners

Duration – 2 Days plus 1 exam and review day approximately 6 weeks after the initial course.Designed to help the practitioner to implement process that are auditable and demonstrate best practice. It identifies a Code of Practice for intervention and rehabilitation.
